
Strawberries & Cream Cake
This cake is so delicious, yet so simple! Who doesn’t love the combination of cream and strawberries?! It is the perfect dessert to make when you are on a time crunch, but still want to WOW your family and friends.

vanilla cake (bake one or two layers, depending on your preference)
thickened cream (for two layers, I used 600ml)
fresh strawberries
optional: icing sugar (powdered sugar) for dusting
Ingredients:
Bake one or two layers of your favourite vanilla cake.
Once the cakes have cooled, whip the cream until soft and fluffy.
Wash and chop the strawberries (leave some whole for decorating).
Dollop a thick layer of whipped cream on the first layer of cake.
Place sliced strawberries on cream.
Now place the second cake on top.
Repeat the layering process (cream then strawberries).
Place a combination of sliced and whole strawberries on top of the cake.
Optional: dust with icing sugar to complete.
